Blended was a sermon series about how to live well within our biological and spiritual families.

Problem: The series was about human relationships. Because there is such a vast diversity in the human family, it would have been difficult to accuartly represent the spectrum if we’d used images of people.

Solution: I purposed using two trees and the blending of two primary colors. The image of a tree is often connected to family stories and the leaves also work well to depict parts of a whole. In addition to creating the illustrations and branding, I collaborated with our video production specialist and our copywriter to generate a sermon bumper. The video features the time lapse of a set of paintings I created based on the brand imagery.
